Industry Presence
In the booming private aviation sector, a single misconception can be costly. Thus, San Diego's Luce, Forward, Hamilton & Scripps LLP in conjunction with NetJets, The Private Bank of Bank of America, Komar Aviation and Jet Source, Inc. conducted a special seminar on private aviation, "From Concept to Closing," to enable participants to grasp the myriad of issues, choices and options surrounding private aviation.
The event offered participants the opportunity to learn about various private aviation alternatives, including charter options, jet card membership and fractional ownership, aircraft ownership and financing, as well as legal and tax considerations associated with an investment in private aviation.
"The maturity of this industry sector brings about complex issues and pitfalls, and the experts that we have assembled can simplify the questions to ask when looking to evaluate and use private aviation, from chartering to the acquisition of an aircraft." said Eli W. Mansour, founder of Luce Forward's Aviation Practice Area. "Whether you are just beginning to explore private aviation for personal use or are an experienced CEO/CFO that is trying to decide between fractional and whole ownership, Luce Forward, The Private Bank of Bank of America, NetJets, Komar Aviation and Jet Source can work together to meet your business and personal travel needs."
"From Concept to Closing" took place on June 6 at Signature Flight Support -- John Wayne Airport in Santa Ana, California and the Jet Source Hanger at Palomar Airport in Carlsbad, California, on June 7 and attracted more than 150 participants. A future aviation educational event is tentatively scheduled for June of 2007.
