Marjorie Burchett has expertise in residential, commercial, mixed-use and master-planned real estate developments. Ms. Burchett’s transactional practice includes real-estate secured finance construction and permanent loan and purchase and sale transactions. She has documented and closed numerous loan modification and deed-in-lieu transactions. She advises both developers and lenders on issues related to urban high-rise and mixed-use developments throughout the state of California, including subdivision processing with the California Department of Real Estate and the sale of projects following foreclosure. She has a special interest in title insurance matters, having co-authored a CEB treatise on this subject. She is a frequent speaker on a variety of real estate topics.

San Diego Spectrum - San Diego – master-planned mixed-use redevelopment project on the former General Dynamics campus with hotel, office, retail and residential.

Sapphire Tower - San Diego – 100-unit high-rise mixed-use condominium project.

Smart Corner - San Diego – 311-unit mixed-use high-rise condominium building, mid-rise office building, parking structure and trolley station.

Treo at Kettner - San Diego – 328-unit high-rise mixed-use condominium project.

Tustin Legacy - Tustin - master-planned mixed-use redevelopment project at the former Marine Corps Air Station with new urban core and surrounding residential and commercial development.

Wyndham Hotel Plaza - San Diego – segregation of existing high-rise office and hotel project into condominiums.
