Jennifer Renk's practice focuses on land use and environmental law, with particular expertise in the California Environmental Quality Act. Ms. Renk advises clients as to the regulatory and political hurdles facing development projects across the state, with an emphasis on commercial, residential, mixed-use, and telecommunications projects.
Prior to attending law school, Ms. Renk worked as District Director for U.S. Representative Ellen Tauscher. In that capacity, Jennifer devised the congresswoman's district strategy, served as her primary point-of-contact in the community, and advised her on land use, transportation and other public policy issues facing her constituents in the 10th Congressional District. Jennifer also worked for U.S. Senator Barbara Boxer as a staff assistant, spearheading the senator's judicial nomination process and resolving constituent disputes with federal agencies. Jennifer's unique political experience serves her extremely well as she navigates entitlement projects through highly politicized environments.
