Management

Executive Committee.

The Executive Committee has the authority and responsibility to manage the business of the Partnership. The voting members of the Executive Committee are the Managing Partner and four other Partners, each of whom are elected by the Partners. Day-to-day operations of the firm are under the control and direction of the Chief Operating Officer, who is an ex officio member of the Executive Committee.

Committees.

Committees also play important roles in firm management, including the following:

The Recruiting Committee, which supervises hiring of new attorneys.

The Ethics Committee, which reviews and advises on issues of professional responsibility and conduct.

The Attorney Education Committee, which is responsible for development and ongoing implementation of the firm's training program for new associates, as well as the continued development and education of all attorneys.

Other committees include the Diversity Committee, the Retirement Plan and Administrative Committee, the Associates Committee, the Recruiting Committee, the Technology Committee, the Business Development/Marketing Committee, the Collections Committee, and the Intake Committee. Major business decisions and firm policies are formulated by these and other committees and confirmed by the Partnership.
