Diversity
Long recognizing the importance and value of diversity, Luce Forward's goal is to reflect the diversity of our communities and to promote communication and understanding among all of those who work at our firm.
Recruitment and Retention of Diverse Candidates.
We take specific steps to recruit, retain and promote diversity at all levels, including law students and lateral hires. We have an expanded outreach to law schools to ensure that we recruit a diverse range of new attorneys. Recognizing that each lawyer develops individually, we have an active mentoring program that our mentoring that caters to individual needs.
Active in the Community.
In addition to our internal commitment, we sponsor community events at organizations supporting diversity in the legal profession. The following organizations and events are a sampling of those we have sponsored:
Diversity Committee.
Luce Forward’s Diversity Committee, is comprised of minority and non-minority partners and associates. The Diversity Committee addresses issues faced by women and minority attorneys, and involving differences among people including race, religion, age, ethnicity, national origin, sexual orientation, gender, language, medical condition or disability, and culture.
