David R. Krause-Leemon

David Krause-Leemon specializes in business, real estate and insurance litigation, with an emphasis in contract disputes, commercial and residential real estate disputes, lender disputes secured by real property, construction contract disputes, misappropriation of trade secrets and other business torts, insurance bad faith, and insurance coverage. Mr. Krause-Leemon’s experience includes lead and key roles in successful bench and jury trials in both state and federal courts, arbitrations, mediations and appellate arguments before the Ninth Circuit and the California Courts of Appeal. Mr. Krause-Leemon also has substantial experience with NASD securities arbitration proceedings, representing both registered representatives and securities broker-dealers.

Prior to becoming a lawyer, Mr. Krause-Leemon gained significant “real world” business and construction experience as the operations manager of a multi-million dollar business with more than 200 employees. Mr. Krause-Leemon’s real world experience allows him "hands-on" insight into business, construction and development disputes.

Key trial counsel in six week state court bench trial defending insurance company clients against $15 million contribution claim for construction defects resulting in successful bench decision for client that was upheld on appeal.
