Rick Frimmer has over 30 years of experience as corporate and tax counsel to public and private organizations on capital formation, acquisitions, forward strategic planning and turnaround implementation. Mr. Frimmer specializes in business transactions, securitizations, public finance, indenture trustee and bondholder investments and workouts of defaulted transactions, and health care. In his national practice, he represents high-yield mutual funds, hedge funds and private equity funds in business acquisitions and divestitutes and in restructuring troubled public and private debt. Also a Certified Public Accountant, he acts as counsel to various organizations throughout nearly every aspect of the restructuring process, including bankruptcy proceedings.
For the past 15 years, Mr. Frimmer has carved out a national practice representing high-yield mutual funds and hedge funds in restructuring troubled public and private debt, both in and out of bankruptcy. This includes turnarounds totaling over $1 billion with over an 80% success rate. He has litigated major commercial and tax cases for Spang & Co. and Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority.
